About Green Pasture Livestock
Our story
Our story began with a simple love for animals and a desire to raise them with the care, patience, and respect they deserve.
What started as a small family farm gradually grew as we gained experience caring for different kinds of livestock and connected with other farmers, breeders, and animal lovers who shared the same passion. Over the years, our knowledge, our herd, and our community continued to grow.
As more people began reaching out to us looking for healthy, well-cared-for livestock, we saw an opportunity to make the process easier. That inspired us to create this online marketplace. A place where farmers, families, ranchers, homesteaders, and livestock enthusiasts can discover animals from a variety of categories, including donkeys, cattle, sheep, goats, poultry, pigs, horses, and more.
Today, our farm and marketplace continue to be built around the values that started it all: responsible animal care, honest relationships, and helping livestock find suitable homes and owners.
We take pride in the journey that brought us here. From our early days of learning the responsibilities of farm life to building a growing livestock community, every step has strengthened our commitment to the animals and the people who welcome them into their lives.
Our mission
Our mission is to make quality livestock easier to discover while creating a trusted and welcoming marketplace for farmers, breeders, ranchers, homesteaders, and animal lovers.
We are committed to promoting responsible livestock ownership by connecting people with animals that are carefully raised and presented with clear, useful information. From donkeys and cattle to goats, sheep, poultry, pigs, horses, and more, we aim to make finding the right livestock a simple, transparent, and dependable experience.
At the heart of our mission is a genuine respect for animals and the people who care for them. We believe every animal deserves proper care and a suitable environment, and every buyer deserves a straightforward experience when choosing their next addition to the farm.
Animal care standards
The well-being of every animal is at the heart of what we do. We believe livestock should be raised in a clean, safe, and caring environment with proper nutrition, fresh water, adequate shelter, and attentive daily care.
We encourage responsible livestock ownership and work to provide buyers with helpful information about each animal, including its breed, age, size, temperament, and care needs where available. Our goal is to help every buyer understand the responsibilities that come with welcoming livestock onto their farm, ranch, homestead, or property.
We believe that good animal care goes beyond providing basic necessities. It means observing animals regularly, recognizing changes in their condition, maintaining appropriate veterinary care, and providing an environment suited to their individual needs.
